The children of Berriew School have issued an open invite to attend their fete on Saturday starting from 10.30am, when the star attraction will be the teachers themselves!
The teachers have volunteered to have freezing cold wet sponges thrown at them while they’re in the stocks. Also, among the many activities there will be a Lucky Dip, straws in the sand, coconut shy, splat the rat, bottle stall, plant stall, face painting, cake stall, coloured hair spraying, football, book stall, guess the weight of the cake, bouncy castle, booty bags, craft table, raffle, lucky socks and many more.
The local Fire Service will be giving demonstrations and attendees can even have their fingerprints taken by the local police force too! There are prizes for the best Fancy Dress on the day. Entry is free.
