19/05/2011 @ 06:27
Police have warned members of the public not to approach the two men being tracked for the Machynlleth bank robbery.
With one man in custody two white men are still at large.
“We still have officers in the area searching for these two white men, who are believed to still be on foot,” said Detective Chief Inspector Shane Williams. “I would ask any members of the public who may see them not to approach them but to contact us and use 999.”
In the last 20 minutes police officers recovered items from a tree on Rhallt Hill believed to be money stolen from the Machynlleth branch of Barclays Bank.
With fading light time is now running out to capture the missing pair and police are bringing in extra tracker dogs from West Mercia.
