Bumper Llanfair coffee morning

 

Despite organisers fearing a low turnout, the morning raised £500 to make it one of the society’s most successful morning fundraisers of late.

 

The society’s new chair, Robert Robinson, said: “I am always impressed with the community here at Llanfair Caereinion where they are not only very friendly but also very generous and active when charity is concerned.”

 

Winners of the raffle were: Shirley Jones from Llanfair Caereinion – won WLLR tickets; Ann Jones from Llanfair Caereinion - £30 M and Co vouchers; Glenys Benbow from Llanfair Caereinion - £10 meat Voucher for Trevors.

 

The next main event for the members (who suffer from MS) is a fully paid train trip on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway on July 2 with their Chair as the guard on that day to look after them.
