Witnesses to a road rage incident last month are being asked to come forward to help with the investigation.

It happened on Monday, September 21, just outside the town and police say there were a number of other vehicles in the area at the time.

“Police in Welshpool are investigating an allegation of assault which occurred at approximately 10.45am on Monday, September 21,” the police said in a statement this afternoon.

“The incident occurred between the driver of a Blue Vauxhall Corsa and the driver of a Co-op HGV lorry while they were stopped at temporary traffic lights on the A458, approaching Welshpool.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has information that could help the investigation is asked to contact police.”
