Vandals strike at Forden pre-school
Parts of the playgroup bench were found under a climbing frame, with the rest of the “very broken bench” thrown over the fence into undergrowth in the field.
“The fact that this is obviously from misuse and then had been deliberately hidden is very disappointing,” the pre-school said in a statement. “The park has newly been resurfaced and should not have been used last week due to the surface needing to be set in.
“A group of teenagers were seen in the park last week and were very rude and confrontational when spoken to. Our staff work hard each and everyday. Then to be faced with this on their first day back has been very disheartening.
“Please look after and respect the property of others. The park is to be enjoyed, not abused.
If anyone has information, they are asked to pass it on to the pre-school.
