An investigation has been launched into the death of a pedestrian who was involved in a road traffic collision on the B4398 at Carreghofa, south of Llanymynech, on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened around 3.30pm and sadly the pedestrian, described as 63-year-old woman, died at the scene.
“A BMW X1 and a pedestrian were involved in the collision,” said a police spokesperson. “Anyone travelling along this road, and witnessed the collision, is asked to contact PC Cross 609 at Newtown Police Station, either online at: http://bit.ly/DPPReportOnline, by email at: contactcentre@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101.
