The show must go on!

Covid-19 is set to devastate the Christmas show season, but Guilsfield Amateur Dramatic Society have announced an evening of entertainment for the end of the month.

The group said that during the summer whilst “dodging between various restrictions” they have written and produced a number of 10-minute drama pieces targeted at the Liverpool International Theatre Festival virtual competition for short drama pieces.

“We were able to bring two to fruition and they are now entered in the competition,” said a spokesperson.

“These are original works written by first time writers. We thought that it would be a great idea to invite our audience to watch them both together with a bit of chat and discussion over ZOOM.”

The ZOOM Premier will be held at 8pm on Friday, November 27.

The performances

‘Five Kilograms From Sheung Wan’ is written by Malcolm Graham and features Richard Kipling and Tonia Davies. 

‘With Love From Your Daughters’ is written by Sue Jones and features Sue and Pam Edwards.
