Another Covid case at Welshpool High School

Welshpool High School has tonight confirmed another positive case of Covid-19 and has issued new guidance to parents and carers.

The school said that all pupils in Year 10 and those travelling in on the Owens bus WP222 from Crew Green/Four Crosses must stay at home until further notice.

“Pupils in other year groups, provided they are not already self isolating and do not travel on the WP222 bus, should attend school as normal,” the school stated on Twitter.

“Thank you for your full co-operation. We are working with Environmental Health and Track and Trace, and will send further communication asap.”

It follows another case in Year 7 that was reported earlier this week.
