Two injured following Woodside ‘explosion’

Two people have been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following what neighbours described as an explosion at a house on Woodside in Welshpool.

All emergency services are on the scene and adjoining houses have been evacuated following the incident this afternoon which has seen extensive damage caused to the front of the terraced house.

The area has been cordoned off as an investigation is launched into the cause of the incident.
