Appeal after woman hit by vehicle on New Year’s Eve

Police are appealing for information following a New Year’s Eve accident on the B4388 Leighton Road, when a woman suffered serious head injuries after being struck by a VW vehicle.

The incident happed at approximately 3.25pm last Thursday, resulting in the 60-year-old pedestrian being airlifted to Stoke Hospital.
