Urgent call for Welshpool blood donors

The Welsh Blood Service is calling on MyWelshpool readers to sign up and give blood next week in the town as the ongoing pandemic continues to create supply challenges.

Readers have responded in incredible numbers previously to our appeals, and now more than ever the service is counting on us all to save lives.

Attending a blood donor session is essential travel and the service will be based at the COWSHACC (former scout hut) next Wednesday and Thursday (January 13/14).

“Donating blood can only take minutes to give, but could last a lifetime for someone in need,” said a Welsh Blood Service spokesperson.
