“This vandalism will not defeat us”

The town has erupted in anger today following a mindless attack on a town centre business preparing at long last to fully reopen on Monday.

Coco Coffee House had its main window smashed last night, putting a huge dampener on the tremendous work this, and other town centre businesses, have been putting in to get the town back on its feet following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The window appears to have had several attempts to be smashed with the business calling whoever is responsible as “idiotic”.

“To the idiotic vandal who smashed our window numerous times, it is not in anyway acceptable,” the business revealed on facebook.

“Hospitality has had a tough year, this has added to it, we are open outside and for takeaway and will be open on Monday inside. This vandalism will not defeat us.

“The police have been and investigated, and to whomever did this, you are on CCTV and you will be prosecuted.”
