Coco’s installs CCTV after spate of damage

Coco Coffee House has upped its security following a spate of vandalism in recent months.

The town centre business has been hit three times, including having its large front window smashed with a blunt instrument.

Previously, the business has relied on CCTV from surrounding businesses to assist police in tracking down the culprits, but it has revealed that it has taken matters into its own hands.

“Guess who now has CCTV?” the business announced. "Just in case someone thinks it’s OK to break a window, damage the planters, or damage anything to do with Coco… it’s not and you will now be clearly seen!”

Last week, another business just off the town centre, H. Ballard & Son, was targeted with several cars for sale on the forecourt receiving extensive damage.
