Welshpool to open Dementia Meeting Centre

An initial meeting is being held next week to open the doors for a new Dementia Meeting Centre in Welshpool in the New Year.

The encouraging news means that a regular meeting spot will be opened up for those in the area living with Dementia to visit and enjoy some friendly company.

The initiative is being pulled together by Dementia Matters in Powys, with support from Dementia Friendly Welshpool.

The initial meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 15, from 11am-12.30pm at the COWSHACC (former scout hut - postcode SY21 7TE) with refreshments and information available on the day.
