Covid cancels Christmas event

With sporting spectators becoming the latest victims of Covid-19 with a ban being introduced over the Festive period, another local event has also fallen at the hands of the virus.

Organisers of the big Festive Shenanigans live music event planned for December 28 in Montgomery have pulled the plug “in light of the current developing Covid situation”.

Any tickets already purchased will remain valid for the rescheduled gig. However, if a ticket-holder would prefer to receive their money back, they can return tickets to Bunners and be refunded accordingly.

One of the organisers, Keith Williams, said: “We will fix a new date as soon as it is possible and sensible to do so. Apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.”
