Dogs welcomed to Powis Castle

Powis Castle has issued a reminder that dogs are welcome to visit their usually restricted areas up until the end of February.

The stunning property is usually off limits to our four-legged friends, but for a limited time the dogs are being welcomed to the courtyard, garden, car park and the path leading from the car park to the castle. Indoor spaces are restricted to assistance dogs only. 

“Dogs and their well-behaved owners are welcome to explore acres of beautifully kept garden during the winter months,” the Castle reminded us.

“Bring along your furry friend to explore our formal woodland, stroll through the Edwardian formal garden, or find a quiet spot on the Italianate Terraces to admire breath taking views across the Severn valley.”
