Bottled water for residents hit by burst pipe

19/04/2022 @ 09:28

Residents in parts of Guilsfield were delivered bottled water after a burst pipe hit their Easter Monday supply.

Part of the village woke up to low pressure, or no water at all, as water company Hafren Dyfrdwy respnded to a 7.44am call out.

A Hafren Dyfrdwy spokesman said: “We would like to apologise to those affected by the burst pipe in Guilsfield. Our teams have worked hard to isolate the burst and repairs took place.

“The vast majority of customers affected were back on supply, with bottled water sent to the few that remained off whilst we carried out the repair.”
