Man in court this morning following stabbing incident

A 27-year-old man will appear in court this morning charged with assault following the stabbing incident at The Raven public house on Sunday afternoon.

Jed Robertson has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was remanded in police custody and will appear at Welshpool Magistrates Court today.

A man was taken to hospital in Stoke for treatment with stab wounds and later released.
