Residents are being asked to leave their bins out this week after staff shortages hit collections in the Welshpool area.
Some recycling bins have been left uncollected for two days now after staff sickness and shortages hit deliveries across the area, but the council is hopeful they will catch up by weekend.
“The waste and recycling service have recently experienced some staffing issues in the north of the county,” a spokesperson told us.
“In places, this has resulted in some delayed collections. Residents are advised to leave their recycling boxes out as the crews are working hard to catch up on all collections by the end of the week.”
