Councillors to meet residents over Llanfair yellow lines

Councillors in Llanfair Caereinion will meet with residents at locations that are set to be impacted by new parking restrictions.

The Town Council has been working with the County Council in recent months to address problem spots in the town, with new parking restrictions set to come into place as a result.

But at the latest full council meeting, and following comments to the initial announcement of where yellow lines could be placed, it was decided that more engagement with residents was required.

“The councillors are to host a walk around the town to meet residents who are interested in each area,” said Town Clerk, Robert Robinson. “Dates for this will be published soon and the council will then come to a final conclusion at its September Council meeting.”
