Householders in the Welshpool area are being urged by Powys County Council to complete the annual electoral registration forms, which are currently dropping through local letterboxes.
The form should be completed and returned giving details of all the adults and anyone who is 17 living at the property.
A spokesperson for Powys County Council said: “We are required by law to conduct this canvass every year and we are urging householders to respond immediately to help us save money and resources on unnecessary reminders.”
If there are no changes to your details, householders can respond by freephone, internet or by text. Just enter your security code when requested.
“Don’t lose your right to vote, make sure your voice can be heard at the next election and referendum by making sure you are registered,” added the spokesperson.
