“See you next year at my 109th birthday”

A Montgomeryshire resident has celebrated her 108th birthday with a personal letter delivered by hand from the Prime Minister.
Local MP, Glyn Davies, delivered the letter to Miss Noreen Lloyd at her home in Llangynog in which David Cameron congratulated her on living to such a great age.
Mr. Davies said: “Miss Lloyd has lived a very active and full life, specialising in breeding and showing Dexter cattle when she was farming. She continues to live at home with the help of carers. I visited Miss Lloyd on the occasion of her 107th birthday last year, and she has invited me back to her 109th birthday next year."
She was also personally congratulated by Chairman of Powys County Council, Cllr Barry Thomas (pictured), who presented Miss Lloyd with a bouquet and birthday card on behalf of the council.
Miss Lloyd is the fifth oldest person in Wales and remains a hugely popular lady in the village.
