31/10/2011 @ 03:01

Welshpool’s Neighbourhood Policing team is to hold an open meeting with the Llanymynech community, following a spate of crimes in the border village.

The latest, on the morning of the 19th, involved the theft of a Makitia 18v lithium iron drill and even a piece of kitchen worktop from a property in Tanyfoel, Llanymynech. A man wearing a black jacket with white writing was seen in the area at the time carrying tools and pieces of worktops.

The Llanymynech area has suffered a spate of thefts this summer and tomorrow night (Tuesday) members of the community can air their concerns with officers from the local force. The meeting starts at 7pm in the Village Hall and all are welcome.

If you have information on the theft, or any other crimes, contact the police on 101.
