Huge fire close to Forden

Fire fighters from Montgomery and Welshpool joined colleagues from across the border to fight a fierce blaze at a farm on the Fordan to Marton Road last night (Friday).
The fire fighters were called to support colleagues from Shropshire in tackling the fire, which was reported shortly after 9pm.
It took more than two hours to bring it under control and destroyed 500 tonnes of hay along with three vehicles in a building measuring 1,500 square metres.
