Talented youngsters from the Welshpool area are being offered the opportunity to audition for the National Youth Theatre of Wales.
In the New Year, teams from National Youth Theatre of Wales will be travelling the length and breadth of Wales, scouting for some of Wales' most talented young performers, designers, stage managers and technicians.
Applicants must be aged between 16-21 and be actively involved a drama group at school or college, or with a local youth theatre/performance group.
Cllr Stephen Hayes, Powys County Council's Cabinet Member for Learning and Leisure is encouraging pupils and students from Powys to get involved. He said: "This is a wonderful opportunity and I would encourage young people in the county to find out more."
