Welshpool’s £25,000 Arts Project

 

Money in the pot from the Tesco Development will be used for the £25,000 project which will task residents to create their own masterpiece based on the Llanfair and Welshpool Light Railway.

 

It is thought that the best one will then be recreated using the money as some sort of a lasting attraction.

 

“The council’s youth representative – Owen Bass - will be responsible for the project as we hope to engage with the High School,” said Town Clerk Robert Robinson. “We are awaiting ideas and then we will implement.”
