Accident closes road "for a few hours"

Detail’s are coming in of a road traffic accident which has closed the busy A483T near Pool Quay.
Emergency services are on the scene of the accident which happened around 5pm. The only information we have is that the road is closed so motorists are asked to avoid the area by taking an alternative route.
A Highways Department spokesperson said it is “expected to be closed for a few hours”.
