Crash victim ‘off critical list’

A man seriously injured in the Pool Quay smash on Tuesday afternoon has been taken off the critical list at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The accident happened at around 4.25pm and resulted in air ambulances taking two women and the man to hospital. One of the two women has also been released from Shrewsbury hospital but the other is expected to remain for several days to come.
Meanwhile, police have renewed their appeal for anyone who saw the smash to contact them on 101.
