MP launches Kidney Patients Association

Glyn Davies, MP, has announced that the first public meeting of the newly formed Kidney Patients Association will take place July 27 (11am), at his Constituency office in Welshpool.
 
The Kidney Patients Association is being formed in conjunction with the new Renal Unit which will open later this year at Welshpool hospital, The Association aims to provide much needed support for suffers of renal disorders and to provide assistance for those attending the unit.
 
The Association will particularly focus on enhancing patients visits to the unit, and aims to provide additional facilities and activities for those who will spend many hours there each week. Its inaugural meeting is open to anyone who is interested in joining the group, renal disorder sufferers and their carers, or those who will take an interest in the Association’s objectives and renal disorder issues as a whole.
 
Mr Davies said: “The new Renal Unit is wonderful news for all those suffering from Kidney disease, their families, and carers all over Montgomeryshire. The Association will aim enhance and support the unit’s visitors. I encourage anyone interested to join us on July 27th.”
