Armoury web site proves a huge ‘hit’

10/07/2012 @ 01:02
The new-look Armoury health and fitness centre has declared its latest phase of renovation work as “complete” but will continue to look at ways of reaching out into the community.
Since being taken over early last year, the once ailing facility has been completely renovated and now boasts the kinds of facilities normally reserved for top of the range city centre gyms.
And the work has not only been restricted to the building and its facilities, the new web site has been unveiled with thousands of page views recorded in the first fortnight alone.
“It is nice to have reached this phase in the Armoury’s development programme,” said Manager Chris Greatorex. “There has been a lot of extensive work carried out to deliver a state-of-the-art facility for the Welshpool area and we are pleased with the results. We are welcoming more members all the time as well as more people attending our classes.”
The new facility now boasts a fully equipped Ladies Only Gym as well as a specialist spin studios with classes throughout the week. The main hall has been transformed into an impressive looking work-out centre while the cardio and weight rooms are equipped with the latest equipment.
