Wales’s first Sherlock Holmes Society, the Deerstalkers of Welshpool, will be hosting an evening of entertainment this Saturday night in the town.
Established as one the UK’s most successful Holmes societies, The Deerstalkers is presenting its evening of entertainment in The School Room at Welshpool’s Methodist Church called The Game’s Afoot!.
Following a short talk on Victorian Railways by Richard Newcombe, Holmes enthusiasts can enjoy talks on the Deerstallkers Library by Dennis J. Duggan, Conan Doyle’s early life by Maurice Eaton and Sherlock Holmes and The Deerstalkers by Roy Upton-Holder.
Admission will be FREE. However, refreshments will cost £2.
