Welshpool’s incredible summer of fun will continue over August Bank Holiday when Waterloofest makes its way onto the town’s social calendar.
Taking place on Sunday, August 26 from noon-9pm, there will be a big day of fun and entertainment for the whole family, with two hot air balloons also in attendance provided by Palletways, the partners of organisers, Speed Welshpool.
The afternoon will consist of games, raffles, prizes, and sports tournaments followed by live music with leading local bands in the evening.
As the name suggests, Speed is organising the event in conjunction with Waterloo Rovers Football Club and a company spokesman explained: “We do a lot to support Waterloo Rovers FC as they're a great bunch of lads and a very deserving local cause. Money raised will be split between them and Macmillan Cancer Support.”
Entrance will be £5 for adults and free for children under 16. More information is available at
