Welshpool Music Club is celebrating 70 years with a season of top-class performances which get underway on Saturday night.
Running through until March 2013, the performers have been invited to perform in Welshpool from across the country as well as the pick of the local crop of talent.
Saturday’s recital is by a group of local young musicians to include music for violin, flute, saxophone, piano, oboe, clarinet, trombone, voice and organ. It is not included in the annual membership fee and has a charge of just £5 which will include light refreshments. All concerts will be hosted by the Welshpool Methodist Church and start at 7.30pm.

November 8: Shrewsbury School Young Musicians
