Midnight walk tonight

Hundreds of local residents are expected to show their community spirit tonight by taking part in one of the most popular events on Welshpool’s charitable and social calendars.
Organised by the firefighters from Welshpool Fire Station, the walk is open to all over 16, those under that age must be accompanied by an adult. It costs £10 to take part with all proceeds going to Hope House.
A spokesperson said: “Even though the date for entering has passed people can still turn up and register on the night from 11pm. Please wear suitable clothes and bring a torch. It is going to be a dry, chilly night so perfect for a moonlit walk.”
Refreshments are available back at the station after the walk.
