The 2012 Welshpool Firework Display will be held again at Maesydre Recreation Ground on Saturday November 3.
The gates will be open to the public at 6pm but organisers are reminding people that there is NO vehicular access to the site. Entry is via the canal path only with the first firework to be lit at 7pm.
A council statement read: “The whole community has been involved in providing this year’s display. Town Council staff has worked closely with the football and rugby clubs who have arranged the use of the floodlights and other facilities.”
There will be a bouncy castle, hot drinks stall and Rikki Lloyd will be providing a Hog Roast and Burgers. Other organisation and business stands will be present.
Entry will again be free but residents are welcome to make a donation towards the cost of the display on the night.
Organisers also warn that fireworks must not be brought onto the site by visitors.
