Hypnotherapist support for Stoptober

12/10/2012 @ 09:03

A local hypnotherapist is urging smokers to only use practitioners registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) if they want to use hypnotherapy to help them give up smoking during the NHS’s Stoptober campaign.

Phil Collins says hypnotherapy is becoming a popular way for to give up smoking with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) being the UK regulator for complementary therapists. And he has made an offer available to mywelshpool readers to help.

He said: “Hypnotherapy is often used to help clients achieve the behavioural change needed to stop smoking but it’s so important the public use someone who knows what they are doing.”

Phil added that: “Hypnotherapy is one of 14 therapies registered by the CNHC. There are over 5,000 practitioners on the register and members of the public can search the CNHC register to find practitioners in their local area. More than 170,000 searches have been carried out since the register first opened in 2009.”

As part of the Stoptober campaign, Phil is offering his treatment for those who wish to give up smoking at half his normal fee.  Just mention mywelshpool when booking your appointment.
