Thieves raid Buttington compound

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating an incident, which occurred between 18:00 hours on Saturday 25 September and 06:00 hours on 26 September 2010, where unknown persons have stolen 300 copper ‘shot ends’ from the process compound of Castalum Ltd, at Buttington, near Welshpool in Powys.

The items are said to be distinctive and likely to be disposed of at a metal recycling/scrap merchant. Anyone with information should contact the PC 223 Mike Clark at Welshpool Police Station on 101.
 
 
Gas Cylinders stolen at Cyfronydd
Police are searching for a young male wearing a dark hooded jacket spotted in the Cyfronydd area shortly before two welding gas cylinders were stolen.
The man was acting suspiciously and was driving a dark coloured Daihatsu between 6.30-7am on September 30.
The two welding gas cylinders are approx 5ft in height with one black and the other purple.
