Sponsor sought for big sports event

The Rally North Wales has made Welshpool its home over the past few years and is scheduled to be held from April 5-7 next year.

Previously known as the ‘Bulldog Rally’ due to its long standing support from Bulldog Security Products, the event is the opening round of the 2013 Motor Sports Association (MSA) British Rally Championship (BRC).

Organisers have published some impressive figures which are being touted to potential companies including coverage of the event beamed into 850 million homes worldwide as part of the BRC. Sky broadcasts the event to 10 million UK households.

The event is also a qualifying round of the MSA/Historic Rally Car Register (HRCR) British and Welsh Historic Championships, the MSA Welsh Stage Championship and other significant regional championships. These add-on events ensure an entry in excess of 180 cars.

The event is organized by the Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire Car Club Ltd and run volunteers.
