Gungrog Road bus shelter on the way

There’s been a victory for Gungrog Road after the town council agreed to support calls for a bus shelter close to the school.
And in a bonus for the town’s tax payers, they won’t have to foot the bill for a new one, only cover the costs to transfer a redundant bus shelter from Acorn Rise.
Gungrog Road is on the bus route but currently does not have a bus shelter despite its busy infant school. And councilors agreed to the move which will cost around £1,500.
“It was a case of using common sense as Acorn Rise is not on the bus route,” said a council spokesperson.
The switch is expected to happen soon.
