Scaffolding gone at last

 Welshpool's Town Hall has reappeared after workmen finally took town the ugly scaffolding.

The hall has been undergoing a major refurbishment and the Town Council is facing an unexpectedly large bill after workmen discovered more damage than expected. 

But the scaffolders finally got to work yesterday pulling down the shell that has covered the building for the last six months just in time for tonight's Christmas lights switch on by Olympic torch bearer and outstanding local athlete Adele Nicoll.
