In just 27 months since we first launched, you have collectively read three million pages on MyWelshpool!

It’s an incredible figure and one that we don’t take lightly. It means that we have to keep on top of our game to feed your appetite for reading local news.

“We have reached some great milestones of late but this really does take us onto a whole new level,” said David Williams, co-founder of MyTown Media Ltd which also runs MyNewtown, MyRadnor and MyBrecon.

“We’ve created a formula that has proved very popular and with the new sites we really do have Powys covered these days!”

MyTown sites recruit the best journalists available to cover the patches they represent and it has proved successful, with the company now bringing other towns onto their radar as demand increases.

The three million page views on MyWelshpool have been made through more than 817,000 visits to the site. Incredibly, visitors spend an average of three minutes and 15 seconds on the site, providing an excellent platform for companies to advertise their products to a local audience.
