Man charged with Welshpool burglaries

A 37-year-old man appeared in court today (Monday) charged with four counts of commercial burglary and one count of criminal damage.

The man, who has not been named by police, appeared before Welshpool Magistrates and has been remanded in custody.

Meanwhile a 21-year-old woman from Newtown has been charged with three counts of possessing a Class A drug and was also due to appear before Welshpool Magistrates.
