A good entry of 73 Over Thirty Month Old Cattle sold very well to average 124ppkg for the older cows, 147.81ppkg for the younger cows, 134ppkg for the older bulls, 147ppkg for the younger bulls, and 165ppkg for the heifer under 48months old. With nine buyers around the ring the top price of the day for an older cow was £1358.88 for a British Blue cow weighing 894kg from E A Rees & Co Borfa Newydd. An entry of 1733 cull sheep on offer for sale today, sold to average £37.48 for the ewes and £54.18 for the rams. Top price of the day for the ewes was £132 per head from C E Pryce Yr Helyg. Top price for the cull rams was £98 per head from EW & KE Benbow Ffrydd Farm. Weekly sale of cull sheep to immediately follow the sale of fat lambs at approximately 12noon.

An entry of 330 store lambs achieving an average of £41. Theave lambs achieving a top price of £50 from DE & KB Owen & Son Rhallt. An entry of 14 cows and calves met with a much better trade with a lot of faces around the ring. Leading the way were tow bids of £2100.
