Tickets selling well for 80s bash

Welshpool Town Hall is set to be transported back in time when Rainbow Records stages an 80s themed ‘Party Nite’ on February 23.

Tickets are selling well for the event which will feature all the big hits from the 1980’s. You can expect music from the likes of Bon Jovi, Kylie, Tina Turner and Belinda Carlisle (not in person though!).

While fancy dress is optional there will be a prize for the best dressed dancer from the era.

Promoter Mike Breeze said: “I am looking for party people who will dance all night and relive those great musical memories from a great decade of music.”

Party tickets are on sale at £50 for groups of 10 or individual tickets are £10 each from Rainbow Records in Welshpool Market Hall. Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start. For more information call 01686 640557.
