Minister to open Welshpool office

Rural Affairs Minister, Elin Jones, will officially open the NFU Cymru's new offices in Boot Street, Welshpool next Monday (October 18).

An invitation is being extended to all NFU Cymru members in the Welshpool area to drop in and visit the new office from 2pm onwards all members and any interested new members of NFU Cymru are invited for light refreshments and a tour the new office.

Steve Kenyon and his team at the new office on Boot Street, Welshpool will also be available for any questions.
 
Elin Jones AM, the Rural Affairs Minister will officially open the new office at 3pm, unveiling a local slate plaque.

Elin Jones said, “I was pleased to be able to accept the offer to officially open NFU Cymru’s new office in Welshpool and I’m sure the new facilities will be of great help to NFU Cymru members in the area.”
 
Welshpool NFU Cymru Group Secretary Steve Kenyon said, “The new office is much bigger to accommodate our expanding business. It is also conveniently located in the town centre and is within walking distance from Welshpool’s main car parks. This will all mean a much better and more flexible service for NFU Cymru members and insurance customers.
 
“We are very grateful to the Minister for agreeing to come and officially open our office.”
