Putting 2014 in the picture

Welshpool Town Council likes to plan ahead, and has launched a 2014 calendar competition already!

The reason being is that residents have the opportunity to get their pictures included, with free copies of the calendar signed by the Mayor up for grabs for winners.

Enthusiasts are invited to send in their pictures by May 31 so the calendar can be printed and go on sale by August. Entries should be sent on a memory stick or by email to the Town Clerk’s office and don’t forget they will need to be taken in high resolution and printable quality.

“The photographs should be of Welshpool sights, attractions and buildings but with some wildlife within each photograph,” said a council statement. “For example you could take a picture of Powis Castle with a stag in foreground.”
