Still glowing from the sell-out success of their Christmas Calendar Girls shows (pictured), Guilsfield’s Amateur Dramatic Society are hoping for more full houses when their latest performance is staged on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Harsh Reality represents an evening of two powerful one-act dramas which will help the group prepare for the upcoming drama festivals this spring.
Lucy in the Sky is a modern all-female cast play by Tony Layton and explores the tough issues and stories of a group of women in a hostel. The second, Blue Remembered Hills by Dennis Potter, is a solid examination of children's issues, remarkably played by adults, exploring issues of loss and bullying with a shocking denouement that will remain with you afterwards.
Tickets are available from Welshpool Jewellers, cast members or call Sarah on 01938 500627.
