Welshpool Music Club will bring the curtain down on its incredible 70th season by welcoming renowned pianist Yasmin Rowe to the town this Thursday.
Yasmin (right) will be giving a recital of music by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Chopin, Janacek, Ravel and Stevenson for the final concert of the year from 7.30pm at the Methodist Church.
Yasmin has won the EPTA UK competition and the Moray International Piano Competition followed shortly by the First Prize at the Sevenoaks Young Musician of the Year Competition, and has an extensive touring record spanning Europe, Australasia, North and South Americas.
She regularly performs around the UK in world-class venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room, Steinway Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields and St James Piccadilly, both as a soloist and with her cellist duo partner, Yelian He. It promises to be an evening to remember with tickets available on the door.
