Do you know a community champion?

Welshpool is looking to recognise its local heroes at its 2013 Community Awards.

Residents are invited to nominate people of any age who have either done something special for the community or have served organisaitons for many years.

The person nominated does not have to live in Welshpool, but their achievements must benefit the people of the town.

Nominations are due in by March 31 and those recognised will be awarded by the Mayor on Mayor’s Sunday at the beginning of June.
