Growing concern over missing teenager

04/04/2013 @ 12:31

There is mounting concern over the welfare of a 14-year-old boy who has been missing from Welshpool since March 26.

Stephen Zehi (right) was last seen by his carers shortly before 1pm near Welshpool library, and police are appealing for anyone who knows him that may have information to come forward.

It is believed he may have caught a train and travelled to his family home in Lewisham, London. He was seen arriving at Birmingham New Street at 2.33pm on March 28, and leaving on a train bound for London Euston.

He is described as being of African ethnicity, stocky and about 6 foot 2 inches tall. He is clean shaven and has short black hair which is plaited.

He was thought to be wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, possibly Adidas, and a dark blue jacket similar to a rain jacket.

If anyone has information on Stephen’s whereabouts, or can help officers find him, contact police on 101.
